Lady In Red

Recently meeting with some other photographers for a day of fun shooting, this was one of the wonderful models we worked with. Though very little modeling experience, her stage experience really brought her to life in front of the camera.

I created most of my images this day with my 70-200 2.8 at 2.8 and both my 50mm and 85mm lenses both set at 1.8, all in aperture priority. I made custom settings to my white balance to combat the “green” light from all the grass and tree bounce. This particular image was captured with 70-200 at 200mm & 2.8 on the D300 with +0.33EC.

Please check out my “Mother Nature’s Light” folder for more images from the day.

photoprof says,

Great lens choice. Your separation of subject from background is excellent.
