Ka Sera Sera

Recently meeting with some other photographers for a day of fun shooting, we had a chance to work with this wonderful young lady. Though very little modeling experience, she really brought and and proved to be an exciting model. I created most of my images this day with my 70-200 2.8 @ 2.8 and both my 50mm and 85mm lenses both set at 1.8, all in aperture priority. I made custom settings to my white balance to combat the “green” light from all the grass and tree bounce. This paticular image was captured with the 85mm on the D200 (the D300 held the 80-200).

I am not a huge fan of post production, I pretty much shoot in the camera what I want the final image to be, but this image needed something more, or something less as the case may be. Some tweaks in Lightroom, some desaturation and some other adjustments yielded this image which reminds me of the song Ka Sera Sera. There are several other images from this day in my “Mother Nature’s Light” album. There were also 2 other models this day.
