Monthly Photo Contest Begins Today!
June 9, 2008 1:00 amXtremeCamera has launched its new Monthly Photo Contests today, June 9th, 2008. All Members are eligible to enter and win.
Each monthly contest will feature a theme, and the first them is “Animals”. The contest will run from June 9 to July 31, 2008. This first contest is a couple of weeks longer the upcoming monthly contests in order to give members a practice run, shake out any bugs in the system, and allow everyone the opportunity to relearn some navigation changes. After July 31st the photo contests will begin on the 1st of the month and end on the last day of the month.
The contest is actually two contests, one for free members and one for premium members. Free members will be competing for a Lifetime Premium Membership. Premium members will be competing for prizes, from Apple iPods to digital cameras. Our first contest is offering a new Apple iPod Nano (product RED) for the First Place Winner and an Apple iPod Shuffle (product RED) for the 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Voting is done by our members. Members will view the contest entries in our new Contest Gallery and award points to the entries. The photos will the most points (votes) will win. All voting must take place between the time of the actual contest.
Free members that upgrade their membership during the contest will be able to keep their earned votes but will be moved to the premium contest.
